For the past 125 years, the town of Tull (Grant County) has been home to an event called "'Old Folks' Singing." Learn how this rich singing tradition has evolved to become the tie that binds this community to its roots. Nathania Sawyer, Associate Head for Special Projects at the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, will deliver the lecture entitled, "How Shape Note Singing Shaped a Community."
