Ralph Brodie, who was president of the Little Rock Central High School student body in 1957-58, joins us to discuss his book Central in Our Lives, which compiles student reminiscences that offer a “third side” to the story of the 1957 Little Rock Central High desegregation.
Central in Our Lives, which was published by Butler Center Books, will be available for purchase, and the author will be signing copies after the lecture.
Bring a sack lunch; drinks and dessert provided. This event is free and open to the public. For more information call 501-918-3049 or email kheller@cals.org.
*If the library parking lot is full upon your arrival, paid parking is available for a modest fee in the River Market parking garage located across Commerce St.
