Korean War Service: 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, U.S. Army, 1951

Roy Orville Bullock was born in Humphrey, Arkansas in 1929 and enlisted in the Army in 1951 at the age of twenty-one. Bullock served in the Korean War with the 1st Calvary Division for nine months beginning in March of 1951. His duties included work as Squad Leader and Assistant Platoon Sergeant. After returning to the United States, Bullock had mountain and cold weather training at Fort Carson, Colorado. He currently lives in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

The Bullock Collection is comprised of one box containing documents and 28 photographs relating to his Korean War military service. Bullock was interviewed on September 9, 2008; an audio and video copy of the interview is included in the collection.
